The fox and the raven

The fox felt terrible. The guilt ate at him, and he swore to never again deceive the raven.

“Hello Fox! How are you?” Then with one word he threw his promise away.

“Good.”

    • When I wrote it I was thinking he really did feel bad and deceived the raven by saying he was good. Something we often do. But it could easily be taken a number of ways. Thanks for stopping by!
